OSPool User Training - Keep it Running: How to Checkpoint your OSPool Jobs

If your job needs to run for days, this training is for you! Learn how to run workflows with checkpointing capabilities on the OSPool. In this training, we will walk through a hands-on example using GROMACS, a popular molecular dynamics simulation software, but no molecular dynamics knowledge is needed to participate.
Topics covered:
- When you should checkpoint your jobs
- How to implement exit-driven checkpointing in your scripts and submit files.
- Common mistakes and troubleshooting tips
Prerequisites
- Basic understanding of HPC/HTC systems
- Experience with the command line
- Some familiarity with HTCondor is recommended but not required
