PATh Team Supports HTCondor Users at European Workshop in Lyon

This fall, the Center for High Throughput Computing (CHTC) sent four team members, on behalf of the Partnership to Advance Throughput Computing (PATh), to the 2026 European HTCondor Workshop. The workshop was held from September 29 to October 2 at the Computing Centre of the French National Institute of Nuclear and Particle Physics (CC-IN2P3) in Lyon, France.

Over four days, HTCondor users, administrators, and developers met to discuss topics including AI, security, and monitoring. The workshop drew 62 registered participants from about 31 organizations in about 13 countries. The program featured 32 presentations by 20 speakers, along with discussions, office hours, and sharing of toolboxes and HTCondor Software Suite (HTCSS) configurations.

PATh staff gave more than six hours of tutorials and demonstrations during the week. During scheduled office hours, they also worked one-on-one with staff from many institutions to solve technical problems.
